Board of Directors
The 16-member board has met 16 times during the reporting year to provide proper direction, timely advice, and implement rules for the institution's growth. The loan sub-committee is taking steps to ensure swift loan disbursement to members with proper guidance. The President, Vice-President, and Directors have been donating their sitting fees to assist with the education of economically backward children.
Loan Recovery and Internal Audit Department
To ensure proper repayment of member loans and manage quality loan distribution, a loan recovery department operates at the head office under an approved Sales Officer from the cooperative department. An internal audit department conducts periodic inspections of all branches' accounts and activities. A human resources department was formed for efficient staff supervision and development. High priority is given to increasing daily operational efficiency and controlling revenue leakage.
Staff
During the reporting year, 108 staff members, including one special officer, are working, alongside 54 daily deposit collectors. To handle competition in the banking sector and ensure effective administration, we provide annual capacity-building training through expert resource persons.
Social Activities
Not limited to banking, our cooperative is active in social causes. Under our "Help for Learning, Learning for Help" adoption program, we fully sponsored 3 engineering students who are now employed and leading stable lives, making our dream a reality. We partially funded a medical student's education and provide financial assistance to 150 degree students at Sri Gurudeva College. We annually honor members' children who achieve top results in SSLC, PUC, Degree, and other fields during the general body meeting. To mark branch decennials, we held a mega health camp with local organizations, offering general, cancer, eye, dental, and orthopedic checkups to 750 beneficiaries, providing free spectacles to those in need. Many more social programs are planned.
